Below are the primary ways the Kentucky Native American Heritage Museum receives funds to continue our important mission.

Donations:
As a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, all donations to the museum are tax deductible. You may make checks payable to "Kentucky Native American Heritage Museum" or simply to "AIHM" which stands for "American Indian Heritage Museum" and mail to:

Grants:
The Kentucky Native American Heritage Museum is constantly seeking out grant funding opportunities and has received a number of grant awards in recent years. Most recently, the Kentucky Arts Council has provided much needed funding to continue our programs.

The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, provides operating support to the Kentucky Native American Heritage Museum with state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
